Decent parking, shuttle was slow

I used the Park and Ride service for my P&O cruise from Ocean Terminal. Booking online was straightforward enough. The parking lot itself felt secure and well-maintained. The only real downside was the shuttle bus wait on the way back to the car; it took a bit longer than I expected after a long cruise. Otherwise, a solid option for port parking.

Easy and convenient parking

Used their Park and Stroll for our Celebrity cruise from City Cruise Terminal. It was super easy to find and just a quick walk to the ship. No fuss with shuttles or anything. Dropped the car, walked over, came back, walked to the car. Simple as that. Made the start and end of the trip much less stressful.

Good value for long stay

First time booking here for a long-stay Princess Cruises parking. I managed to get an early booking discount, which made a big difference. The price was competitive compared to other options I looked at. The secure parking gave me peace of mind while I was away. Felt like I got good value for my money.

Always reliable, easy process

This was my third time using Southampton Port Parking, this time for a Royal Caribbean cruise. I went with Park and Stroll for Queen Elizabeth II Terminal. Just like before, everything was smooth. Dropping off the car was quick and picking it up after the cruise was just as easy. They're consistently good, which is why I keep coming back.

Smooth experience, detailed service

Booked the Park and Ride for our Cunard cruise out of Mayflower Terminal. The online booking system was clear, and I received email confirmations promptly. On arrival, the staff directed us efficiently to our spot. The shuttle to the terminal was on time and comfortable. For our return, we called them after disembarking, and the shuttle arrived within about 15 minutes, which was great. We also opted for the car cleaning service while we were away, and the car looked great when we picked it up. A very well-organized service all around, felt secure with the CCTV too. No issues with needing to leave keys either, which I appreciated.

Thinking of using Southampton Port Parking, but ABParking is also an option. Any thoughts on which is better?

M Mark Z. 1 month ago
Used both, Southampton Port Parking felt a bit more organized with the shuttles.

I've used Southampton Port Parking a few times and found them really efficient, especially with the transfers. ABParking is decent too, but I feel like Southampton often has slightly better deals if you book early. Might be worth checking prices for your specific dates on both.

hey, is the NHS discount only for certain services or can I use it for any parking type?

M Mark Patel 2 months ago
I used my NHS discount last year for a Park and Ride booking, worked fine.

From what I remember, the NHS discount applies pretty broadly across their parking options. It's usually a percentage off the total, not tied to a specific service. Just make sure you apply it at checkout.

how does the Park and Ride actually work? do i just turn up and park wherever?

J Josh Foster 2 months ago
You go to their lot, park up, and then a shuttle takes you to the terminal.

Basically, you drive to their designated car park, park your car in an available spot, and then hop on their shuttle bus. The bus takes you right to your cruise terminal. On your return, you call them after you've disembarked, and they'll pick you up and take you back to your car. Super straightforward.

Can I cancel my booking if something comes up and I can't go on the cruise? Will I get my money back?

R Renee 1 month ago
Yeah, returns were easy, did it last month. Just check their terms.

They do allow cancellations, but there might be a cutoff point for a full refund. Like, if you cancel super last minute, you might get a partial refund or credit. Best to check their specific cancellation policy on their site.

Is there a specific spot to put in a promo code? I signed up for the newsletter but haven't seen where to use it yet.

F Faith Foster 2 months ago
It's on the booking summary page, before you pay.

Once you've picked your dates and services, you'll go to a summary page before the final payment. There should be a little box or link there to enter your discount code. Keep an eye out for it, it's usually pretty clear.
